Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 31, 2026

1. Introduction

Enrevia (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides a contact enrichment platform including a web dashboard and a Chrome browser extension. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely using bcrypt hashing).

LinkedIn Profile Data (Chrome Extension)

When you use our Chrome extension on LinkedIn, the extension reads publicly visible profile information from the page you are viewing, including: name, job title, company name, headline, location, and profile image URL. This data is sent to our servers over HTTPS to perform contact enrichment.

The extension does not access your LinkedIn credentials, messages, connections list, or any data beyond what is visible on the profile page you are actively viewing.

Enrichment Data

When you request contact enrichment, we query third-party data providers to find email addresses, phone numbers, and company information. This data is stored in your team's account and is only accessible by your team members.

Usage Data

We track credit usage, enrichment history, and login activity for billing and security purposes. We do not use third-party analytics trackers.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate our contact enrichment services
  • To authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • To process enrichment requests and display results
  • To track credit usage and manage team billing
  • To send transactional emails (welcome, password reset, team invitations)
  • To improve our services and fix technical issues

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:

  • Third-party enrichment providers — We send names, company names, and LinkedIn URLs to data providers (such as People Data Labs, Hunter.io, and Apollo.io) to fulfill enrichment requests. These providers have their own privacy policies.
  • Infrastructure providers — We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) for hosting, database, and email delivery. Data is processed and stored in the US (us-east-1 region).
  • Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

5. Chrome Extension Permissions

Our Chrome extension requests the following permissions:

  • activeTab — To read the content of the LinkedIn profile page you are currently viewing
  • storage — To securely store your authentication tokens locally in your browser
  • Host access to linkedin.com — To inject our sidebar UI on LinkedIn profile pages
  • Host access to api.enrevia.com — To communicate with our API servers over HTTPS

The extension only activates on LinkedIn profile pages. It does not run on any other websites, track your browsing history, or access data from other tabs.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • All data in transit is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS
  • Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with a cost factor of 12
  • Authentication tokens expire and are automatically refreshed
  • Database access is restricted and not publicly accessible
  • SSL certificates are managed and auto-renewed via Let's Encrypt

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data and enriched contacts for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request data removal, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized usage statistics may be retained for analytics purposes.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export your contact data (CSV export is available in the dashboard)
  • Withdraw consent by uninstalling the extension and/or deleting your account

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
